Which is which?

As previously promised, here are the pictures of baby Ame, with a couple of Addie pictures for comparison. I just took a picture of the pictures in Ame's baby book, so the quality isn't that wonderful. Still, it's fun to look.

We don't really have a comparable Addie picture (not from the same angle), but here they both are at one day old. I think you can still see the resemblance, especially the eyes.

Addie is changing almost daily. I now understand why people say that you turn around and your kid is now graduating high school. We laid her on her stomach today to help her develop her neck and back muscles, which she does by lifting her head. And boy did she lift her head. She was actually using her arms at one point to lift her head (and part of her upper body) off the floor.

She is still continuing to smile more and more and become more interactive overall. I laid her on her back a short while ago and shook a rattle toy in front of her, which she began to focus on. Then I moved it to the right, still shaking, and she followed it. Then to the left, where she followed it again. Back and forth, back and forth. It seems it's the little things that excite you as a parent.

Other than that, I don't know that I have much more to add. Actually, I'm sure that I do have more to add, but I just can't think of anything at the moment. We'll keep you updated. But, of course, we must include some new pictures before leaving. Many of them are pretty similar, since she really doesn't do a whole lot at this age. Still they're fun. I was hoping to catch her in a smile, but she's been a little fussy tonight, so she wasn't too cooperative. Anyway, enjoy.
